Evie Noir writes at the crossroads of intimacy, identity, and self-reclamation- where love is never simple, power is always shifting, and pleasure and pain are often intertwined.
They were born and raised on the West Coast of Turtle Island (commonly known as the USA). Besides a background in herbalism and pole dancing, Evie has spent 15 years in the sex industry; an experience that profoundly shaped their understanding of power, desire, and the ways people seek connection. As of 2025, she is a TEDA trained Pro-Domme. Their work delves unapologetically into taboo, temptation, and transformation, blending spice, duality, and emotional depth into every story.
An ex-Mormon, Evie was married to a gay man in an LDS temple marriage- a relationship that illuminated their gender dysphoria and catalyzed their awakening as nonbinary queer, as well as their awakening to live as ethically non-monogamous.
Evie’s journey as a writer began at the age of eight, when their mother gave them their first journal- a ritual that became a lifeline. In the depths of a mental health crisis, journaling saved Evie’s life. Their novels reflect this same alchemical power: the belief that even in the darkest places, there is a way through.
After spending 16 years in Utah, navigating both the rural isolation of a small cow town (where monks were among their closest neighbors) and the religious bubble of ‘Happy Valley’, Evie turned to reading and writing as an escape- and as a way to find her identities represented in media.
Writing queer romance gave her the courage to break free of societal expectations, rediscover her belief in love, and come out as nonbinary queer.
Born under a Capricorn Sun and a Full Moon in Cancer, Evie believes in metamorphosis- both personal and collective- and that even the most broken things can be reborn.
